We’re back! And in keeping with tradition (is it really tradition if it’s only the second time?), we kick off Season 02 with another Darren Aronofsky film, and quite possibly his most controversial film to date; it’s 2017’s mother! A retelling of the Bible, a cautionary tale about the decay of Mother Nature, an allegory for the creative process; whatever you can imagine, this film can probably fit that mold.

mother! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, and Jovan Adepo. Directed by Darren Aronofsky.
