From before JD could even say the word bottle, he lived and breathed wine! While his mother was pregnant, she helped with pressings and punch downs in their family winery. JD went on to study winemaking at Stellenbosch university and has been making wine for the past 15 years. JD tells us about what it was like growing up around wine, studying winemaking and shares his insights into the South African wine industry.
