He has worked in the field of substance abuse prevention, addictions treatment, and recovery support since 2001. In 2004, Menachem became Director of The Living Room (TLR) a clubhouse program for young adults in recovery, with offices in Brooklyn, Five Towns,  Monsey and Hollywood, Fl. Menachem is an author of two books; Stepping Out of the Abyss: A Jewish Guide to the Twelve Steps, and Consciously; Six Steps to Living Vibrantly with Our Creator, Mosaica Press publications. Menachem is editor in chief of The Light Revealed a social media publisher and content creator focused on Jewish spirituality and recovery, and he hosts two weekly podcasts called Consciously and Practically a Fabrengen.
