The depths of her husbands emotional distress compelled her to seek out the help she deserved. Today, Estee prioritizes her well-being and develops compassionate empathy- no longer shouldering the responsibility of others’ emotional states. ” I didn't only have to be on the receiving end, but I also had to tell people exactly how I wanted them to support me.” Estee's transformation even led her to become a certified life coach, supporting women dealing with addiction and mental health challenges.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Bashie describes her childhood and adolescent years of dealing with the consequences of clinical depression gone undiagnosed. “At recess time in school, I would escape to the back stairwell with my pen and journal to just write and cry”. With guidance from professional sources, a stretch in the psych ward, as well as many life experiences serving as her greatest teachers - Bashie received her diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, and has found immense strength and healing within the 12 Step Program for Emotions Anonymous. Today, Bashie gives back as a teacher and mother, incorporating Jewish and G-d centered values through the lenses of mental health, and cares for her wonderful family.
