Lauren is autistic, queer, and adhd. A year ago she left her teaching position in rural Indiana amidst an utter shitstorm of bigotry and bureaucracy. More than half of all proposed anti-lgbtqia+ bills are in education so we asked her to come on the show today to talk about some of these bills as well as her lived-experience with queerness and neurodivergence in the school system.
