Andrew is a rising hospitalist-educator at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Meeting inpatients and working with them to achieve diagnostic clarity is his primary clinical passion, and his interest in diagnosing the undifferentiated patient is the driving force behind deep interest in learning and teaching diagnostic reasoning. Sarah Blaine is an MD/MSc student at Emory University School of Medicine applying into neurology residency. She is from Southern California and went to UC Berkeley for her undergraduate degree where she studied Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Immunology and Pathogenesis. Her research interests are in antibiotic resistance, epidemiological modeling, and predicting outcomes in critical illness. She loves going to concerts, rock climbing, and playing with her dog, Pluto.

 

 

 

 

Valeria Roldan

Valeria Roldan was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She recently graduated medical school at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and is excited to pursue a career in Neurology. She is passionate about LGBTQ+ health, particularly advocating for trans rights, as well as medical education. She would describe herself as an optimist and outside of medicine you probably will find her running or talking about pop culture over a glass of wine.
