Hi love, in today's episode, we're talking about the hidden dangers in children's packaged foods and how they impact both physical and emotional health. Artificial food dyes and ultra-processed foods have been linked to ADHD, behavioral issues, and rising rates of childhood obesity and autoimmune disorders. From an Ayurvedic perspective, these foods kill Agni, the digestive fire that governs health and clarity. Children aren't born with strong Agni—it must be nurtured with warm, simple, nourishing foods. When we feed them processed, synthetic products, we create Ama—toxic buildup that leads to digestive issues, mood swings, immune problems, and long-term disease. Instead, we can return to nature, using real ingredients, gentle spices like ginger and cumin, and conscious food choices to support their growing bodies and spirits. It's not about perfection—it's about awareness, and raising children rooted in clarity, health, and joy.
