Opening Bible verse: Matthew 6:19-21

The loss of a parent is hard enough, having to deal with their belongings can be overwhelming.  

In today's episode I share my grief with you of losing my dad this month.  While he stored up his fair share of items on earth, he also stored up much more in heaven.  But...there is only one thing I really want that was his.  My mom gets a chuckle out of my one thing but it's so much more than a thing to me.  Ask your kids what they would want, their answers will surprise you.  Hint: it's not about the stuff.

As we head into Christmas season, I encourage you to think twice about adding more stuff under the tree and instead, adding more memories. BTW, memories are super budget friendly!
