Speaking with Confidence with Cat Matson: communication coaching for humble leaders

Episode 55. How To Move Your Audience

Listen Later

As experts, leaders, business owners and change makers, we often fall into the trap of thinking with need to tell our audience EVERYTHING we know in order to convince them of our credibility.
The problem is, that has the complete opposite effect of our outcome …. and we instead bore or overwhelm our listener.
In this episode I talk about how to MOVE your audience to take action … perhaps just the next step … but how to fundamentally think DIFFERENTLY about your presentation, and move away from the need to dump all the data or distil all the complexity and instead simply change how your audience thinks, feels, acts or behaves about your topic.
