Welcome to another episode of OFF-AIR with Carmen!  This week’s episode is a little bit different. For starters, it’s all about something very near to my heart – TEAM FREEDOM, and our fight against Human Trafficking. You are going to hear how it all came about almost ten years ago.

This weekend, thousands of runners will lace up to run the Gasparilla Distance Classic along the shoreline of Tampa Bay. Several hundred of those runners will be wearing a Team Freedom jersey and running for those not free to run… YET!

In this special episode, I am once again joined by my morning show partner Bill as well as Jacqueline Pastika and David Lord. Jacqueline has been with Team Freedom since Day 1. She is an OG member! David manages the US office of Hope For Justice, the organization that we partner with in this fight.

Human Trafficking is a tough subject. You will hear some hard stuff in this episode. But William Wilberforce’s words always echo in my head, He said, “having heard all of this you may choose to look the other way but you can never again say you did not know.
