The 1996 Olympics were held in Atlanta Georgia. While on American soil the 1996 Olympics were bombed in an act of domestic terrorism. Richard Jewell, a security guard, spotted the bomb before the mysterious 911 call came in warning officials. While he worked with the FBI to evacuate the bomb prematurely detonated killing 2 and wounding 111 others. A few days later, everyone turned on Richard Jewell.
