Many of us, both within the medical profession and outside of it, have gained tremendous clarity through the realization that we all need to "unlearn" so much of what we have learned about health, nutrition, medicine, prevention, etc. Nurse Practitioner, Lauren Johnson, or "Natural Nurse Momma" as she is known to her more than 200,000 followers on social media, realized while practicing medicine that she needed to unlearn so much of what she had been taught in medical school in order to help her patients truly be healed and healthy. And she realized this after battling her own health conditions and examining her own medications and treatments. In this episode, we will challenge all of us to not be overwhelmed by the realization that you, too, may need to unlearn some things, or to be paralyzed by all the information available, but to instead "just think". What could be at the root of my health concerns? What am I doing that could make my life better or worse? And how can I move forward in making better, more informed choices, one day at a time.
