As sister, it’s generosity. As bride, it’s receptivity. As mother, it’s maternity. Our goal is that as we explore each of these, we will gain a better understanding of our true identity. Today, Lisa and Laura dive into what it means to be a daughter, and explore all the things that get in the way of embracing the truth of who we are. Listen in and learn about false identities, distorted images of God, and the seemingly simple question that so many of us struggle to get right: Who am I?

Reflect on: Who am I?

Meditate on Mark 1:11 and imagine the voice of the Father declaring over your life that you are His beloved child. Can you embrace this truth? Are you able to rest in your true, God-given identity? Or is this hard to believe? If it’s hard, you are most likely finding your identity from a voice other than God’s. If you cannot identify your false identity, ask God for the eyes to see it.
