In 1946 a murderer was loose in Texarkana. The media coined the assailant the "Phantom Killer" because of their ability to evade law enforcement and witnesses. The assailant was able to attack and murder couples, under the cover of darkness for many months. There were some credible leads, and a prime suspect, but it still remains a mystery.
