On the show this week we start out with introductions and the Social Media Friends segment, then we discuss clips of Gavin Newsom calling Biden’s presidency a masterclass after Kristen Welker asks if it’s responsible for Democrats to keep Biden on the ticket, Jimmy Kimmel getting Trump supporters to reveal their blatant hypocrisy, and Jen Psaki calling out Trump’s racist and bigoted statements during recent speeches. Next we discuss clips of Von Hillyard telling the Morning Joe crew that he believes Trump will lose because he’s making the same mistake as Kari Lake, Neal Katyal and Andrew Weissmann torching Trump’s cockamamie filings in his criminal trials, and President Biden addressing the age concerns by attacking Trump on Late Night with Seth Myers. Then we discuss clips of James Carville laughing at the prospect of Lara Trump emptying the RNC’s coffers for her father-in-law, Michigan voter Susan Titus sharing her thoughts on Trump on their Primary day, and Rep. Dan Goldman speaking about how Hunter Biden’s testimony destroyed the bogus GOP impeachment inquiry. Next we discuss clips of Rachel Maddow blasting SCOTUS for delaying Trump’s trial, Elie Mystal sharing his theory that Justices Thomas and Alito want Trump re-elected so they can retire and he can replace them with younger versions of themselves, and Whoopi Goldberg suggesting that Biden could throw every Republican in jail if SCOTUS gives Trump immunity. And we close out the show discussing clips of the Morning Joe crew scratching their heads over Trump’s rambling border speech as well as Anne Applebaum savaging Trump’s ulterior motives surrounding Ukraine and saying his loyalties are not to the US.
