On the show this week we start out with introductions and our Heros of the Week segment, then we discuss clips of Rep. Tony Gonzales saying that some of his Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives are ‘scumbags’, the Morning Joe crew praising Speaker Mike Johnson’s courage in gettinge the Ukraine aid bill passed, and Kaitlan Collins pointing out that Trump’s tiny crowds outside the Courthouse are driving him crazy. Next we discuss clips of Elie Honig calling out Trump’s statements outside the Courtroom ‘demonstrably false’, Kristen Holmes fact checking Trump’s claim that his criminal trial is keeping him off of the campaign trail, Rachel Maddow reporting about how Trump looked miserable in the Courtroom during opening arguments, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody product for Trump’s farting problem in the Courtroom called ‘Fart-Eaters for Men’. Then we discuss clips of Danny Cevallos saying there is a good chance that Trump will take the stand because he believes he is smarter than anyone in the room, the MSNBC panel pointing out that David Pecker’s term ‘checkbook journalism’ is trying to normalize paying for stories, Vaughn Hillyard reporting on when Judge Merchan told Trump’s attorney that he is losing all credibility with the Court, and Mary Trump mocking Trump over the absence of his family in the Courtroom. Next we discuss clips of Dana Perino on FOX News reporting that Nikki Haley took 150,000+ votes away from Trump in the Pennsylvania GOP Primary, Joe Scarborough blasting Arizona prosecutors for taking four years to bring charges for the alternate Electors, Eddie Glaude warning that the stakes in Trump’s Supreme Court immunity hearing couldn’t be higher for our Democracy, and we close out the show with a clip of Daniel Dale on CNN fact checking Trump’s latest rant citing FOX News legal analysts.
