I want to start today’s episode by asking you to use your imagination.

First, I need you to think of “that parent”. The one that immediately came to mind will be part of the following scenario:

I apologize for sending a chill down your spine. I can hear what you are saying: 

“I would NEVER invite that parent into my home.”

“I would CERTAINLY NEVER invite them to sit down and watch TV.”

But, that’s exactly what you do when you check your work email when you are sitting on your couch.

That’s exactly what you do when you check email when you are lying in bed each morning before you get up. 

How many times has a parent email ruined your evening?

How many times has a parent email negatively impacted your day before you have even gotten out of bed?
