Award-winning documentary filmmaker Dawn Porter joins the ladies of BlackGirlPod, to discuss her latest film "The Way I See It." Dawn brings us into the world of Pete Souza, former Chief Official White House photographer, and his experience documenting the historical presidency of Barack Obama and the First Family. Dawn shares what it takes to share space while storytelling, where and when she first saw herself in film, leadership, choosing film over law, piecing together her blackness and how she's been taking care of herself during quarantine.
