On the show this week we discuss the No Kings 2.0 protests across the nation and the Republican’s failed threats to try to frighten people from protesting, how airports across the country are refusing to play Kristi Noem’s video blaming Democrats for the Government shutdown, and Trump’s Middle East trip and ceasefire agreement that has already fallen apart. Next we discuss the Politico article about young Republicans horrible telegram chat messages as well as a Nazi flag being seen in Rep. Dave Taylor’s Congressional office, Trump’s meeting with the President of Argentina and the 40 billion dollar bailout, and that Ted Nugent and Kid Rock are the headliners for the Turning Points USA alternate half time show. Then we discuss how all of the media outlets except for OAN refused to sign Pete Hegseth’s muzzle agreement, OMB’s attempt to fire 10,000 Federal employees during the shutdown, and that Democrats are holding the line on the shutdown over the ACA subsidies. Next we discuss that the Supreme Court appears likely to strike down the Voting Rights Act, the Arizona AG is suing speaker Johnson for not swearing in Adelita Grijalva, and Nancy Pelosi telling a right wing reporter to shut up when she asked her why she refused to call the National Guard on Jan 6th. Lastly we discuss John Bolton’s indictment compared to Trump commuting the sentence of disgraced congressman George Santos, Trump’s plans to build an arch monument dedicated to himself, an ICE agent in Florida who was pulled over for drunk driving with his 2 kids in the truck assuming he was above the law because he was a Federal agent, and Trump’s dementia ramblings about reverse bathtubs.
