I'm so excited to share this episode!
When I heard fellow Family Physician and Coach, Dr Joan Chan, as a guest on a podcast, I knew I had to reach out to her, and I'm so grateful to share this conversation with you.
We decided to take turns interviewing each other, because we both like to talk about our human emotions, as well as the impact of trauma on our nervous systems. Both Joan and myself use the language of trauma to describe our experiences at different points in our careers and trainings, and I don't think that we talk enough about this when we talk about physician burnout. The brain-body connections that get disrupted by trauma are real, AND, we can all learn to heal these as part of our journeys.
Come geek out with us as we talk shop on this joint episode of Ending Physician Overwhelm and The Other Human in the Room!
