On the show this week we discuss the passing of June Lockhart, the AI MAGA Ballroom video that’s gone viral on social media, and Trump admitting his medical imaging and that it raised serious questions about his health. Next we discuss the decimation of the CBS News division by Skydance, Canada’s TV ad featuring Ronald Reagan explaining why tariffs are harmful that reignited Trump’s trade war, and the Pentagon accepting $130 million dollar donation to help pay the troops during the government shutdown. Then we discuss how Trump proved that he’s a geriatric dementia patient on his trip to Asia, the ridiculous claim from a MAGA person who claimed they had a screen shot of an offensive tweet that Zohran Mandami posted in 1986, and how Judge Sarah Ellis intensified oversight of agents in Trump’s Chicago immigration crackdown. Next we discuss how people in Chicago are using plastic whistles as an anti-ICE resistance tool, the fact that Americans are getting a look at next year’s ACA premiums and don’t like it, and that more than two dozen state leaders are suing the Department of Agriculture after the Trump administration said it wouldn’t use contingency funds to pay SNAP benefits during the government shutdown. Then we discuss that the Pentagon killed 14 people in strikes on alleged drug boats and is threatening a war in Venezuela, how Pete Hegseth’s requiring senior military leaders to sign NDAs is unlawful, and that the US Senate voted to strike down Trump’s tariffs on Brazil and Canada. Lastly we discuss that Trump said he would love to have a 3rd term, Kamala Harris saying she may run for President again, and that a truck overturned in Mississippi with diseased monkeys escaping.
