- Fri. May 12th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.The supreme commandment of God is love. Love means different things to different people in different epochs. Jesus Christ presents Himself to us today as the definition of true love and his style of loving as the model with which we're to love one another. Are you loving and being loved as Christ Jesus loved?Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily. Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenson and our website @ https://ewlm.org.Be assured of my prayers and blessings always.@FadaPeterBenson@Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson@https://ewlm.org12 min
- Thur. May 11th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: CHRISTIANITY IS A BLESSING, NOT A BURDEN.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.The Christian faith is meant to be a blessing, not a burden. It is meant to lighten the burden of human beings (cf. Matt. 11:28), set captives free (cf. Lk. 4:18) and deliver us from our afflictions (cf. Jn. 8:36). Christianity should not be a source of burden; bringing any form of yoke, misery and pains to its adherents. God sent Jesus Christ to save humanity and deliver us from all forms of bandage (cf. Lk. 4:18-19). The Christian faith is meant to pursue, promote and fulfil this very core value of set out by Jesus Christ. Is your practice of Christianity a blessing or a burden to you and are you making Christianity a source of blessings or burden unto others by your practice of Christianity?Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily. Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenson and our website @ https://ewlm.org.Be assured of my prayers and blessings always.@FadaPeterBenson@Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson@https://ewlm.org11 min
- Wed. May 10th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: STAY CONNECTED TO JESUS, THE TRUE VINE.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.Jesus Christ is the true vine; the source and sustenance of our being. We're His branches. We're to stay connected to Him by living in and according to His Word. The Psalmist describes God's Word thus: "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path" (cf. Psalm 119:105). To bear much fruits, we must further allow the discipline of having God prune us for the scripture says; "and you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son." (cf. Heb. 12:5-6).Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.
- Tue. May 9th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.In the Gospel of John (John 16:33), Jesus declares; "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Dearly beloved, definitely life will always come with troubles and challenges. Nevertheless, Jesus Christ leaves us with the peace that surpasses all troubles and challenges. Hold on to Him in faith, let not your heart be troubled amidst all the challenges of life but live in the peace Christ Jesus leaves with us. We shall, through Him, conquer the world and find perpetual peace for He has conquered the world Himself. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Psalms 20, 77, 123 and 1 Samuel 16:1-13 from 1st to 9th May, 2023.Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily.
- Mon. May 8th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: IF YOU LOVE ME YOU'LL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.In today's Gospel, Jesus tells us; "he who has my commandments and keeps them, he it's who loves me" (Jn. 14:21). Our love for God and our Lord Jesus Christ is expressed in our deep desire to remain close to the heart of God and to always have access to the presence of God. In fact, loving God comes with the concrete efforts to always be in His company. This quest necessarily entails keeping His commandments as sin separates us from God. Let's ask that God heals us from sin and its consequences and keep us always close to His heart through the life of virtue and holiness.
- Sun. May 7th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: THE CALL TO SERVICE.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.We're created to serve God and humanity. In serving, we're served. This is because in serving God, we're saved, and in serving our fellow human beings, we become God's instruments in saving humanity, which in turn is the greatest service that we can enjoy in life. The call to service must carry on board these two dimensions: namely, service to God and humanitarian service. This enables us to give everything in reality their rightful place and relate with each accordingly. Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenson and our website @ https://ewlm.org.Be assured of my prayers and blessings always.@FadaPeterBenson@Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson@https://ewlm.org8 min
- Sat. May 6th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: LORD, SHOW US THE FATHER.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.Thomas, in today's Gospel, says to Jesus; Lord, show us the Father, and we shall be satisfied. This request is informed by a deep desire to have a personal knowledge of the person of God. This knowledge sorted after is one that will transform the life of the followers of Jesus Christ to the point of becoming like Jesus and God the Father. It's a quest to become one with God. This knowledge of and intimacy with God is brought about by close and intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who is one with the Father. This in turn leads to genuine and eternal satisfaction.

Rather, believe in Jesus Christ and in God the Father for in and through Jesus Christ we're saved and safe. Hold unto Jesus Christ in faith, prayers and virtue for He's the way, truth and life. - Thur. May 4th, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson: A SERVANT IS NOT GREATER THAN HIS MASTER.TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.Though Jesus Christ may not have lived in His human form in our epoch. Nevertheless, His lifestyle remains a model to all the living. He subjected his will to the will of God in an unreserved manner. He spent Himself serving; a way of life we are to imbibe in imitation of Him. Hence, in order to serve like He did, we must be ready to tolerate others and forgive their flaws and, as only God can be ground and reason substantial enough to serve others without any expectation nor renumeration. Please follow, subscribe to, like, share and comment on our YouTube channel and Facebook page @ Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson, our Facebook, Instagram, Blog and Twitter @ FadaPeterBenson and our website @ https://ewlm.org.Be assured of my prayers and blessings always.@FadaPeterBenson@Eternal Word of Life Ministry-#FadaPeterBenson@https://ewlm.org13 min
- Wed May 3rd, 2023 Homily by FadaPeterBenson:CHRIST HAS DIED, CHRIST IS RISEN, CHRIST WILL COME AGAINTODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.Through Jesus Christ we have been made the children of God and just as Jesus Christ is in God the Father and God the Father is in Him, we too are in Jesus Christ and He is in us. To this effect, we, too, are destined to rise beyond the grasp of the grave, the flesh and the world. Having Christ Jesus in us also gives us access to the presence and blessings of God such that whatever we ask in the name of Jesus Christ shall be granted. We must therefore allow Christ Jesus to guide our way of life.
