ETERNAL WORD OF LIFE MINISTRY (EWLM)

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The worst thing that can happen to any human person is to lose focus of what he/she sets out to achieve in life. As we journey through life, we are bound to experience all sorts of circumstances; some pleasant, some not too pleasant, others not too desirable and yet others extremely painful. In the midst of all these, there is always a goal or a target to be actualized. The ability to stay focused on the goal will obviously help one to manage life circumstances in such a manner that they all work to help and facilitate the actualisation of the set goal. You're a being on a mission with a goal and a purpose to actualise. No matter what comes your way as you journey through life, stay focused on your goal and the purpose of your existence. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10;  Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The statement "obedience is better than sacrifice" shows how much God desires unreserved obedience from us. Genuine conversion and a true life of virtue that culminates in a healthy, godly and kind relationship with our fellow human beings give us access to enjoying the fulness of God's blessings in the land. Hence, we're invited today to turn away from sin, learn to do good and then enjoy the blessings of God. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10;  Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Dearly beloved friends, today Jesus Christ warns us about the energy we give to the world and about the kind of treatment we give to others. We must be humble enough to acknowledge our short falls, kill our sinful tendencies and inclinations and live in a way and manner that our lifestyle enriches our fellow human beings and the world. We must give to the world that which we will be happy and proud to receive back for the measure we give is the measure we get back. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10;  Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. By making a conscious choice to serve God and, by that fact, making Him our God and we His children, we are called to a life of righteousness and holiness according to the standard of God. As God's children we must strive to be holy as He is Himself. Our understanding and practice of the life of virtue or righteousness must be modelled after God's as epitomised in the life of Jesus Christ. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10;  Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. In a world and generation where the life of righteousness is made to appear worthless, none rewarding and unattractive; persistence, consistency and perseverance in righteousness become almost an illusion. In such a situation, righteousness is made to appear impossible, unattainable, illusive and a futile project to pursue. Nevertheless, today God calls on us to persevere in righteousness as this is the only way to obtain the reward and reap the harvest of the life of righteousness. Continue in the path of righteousness even when it appears not to make any sense nor yield any dividend and even when being righteous appears to be obsolete and unconventional. God still does and will always reward righteousness and punish evil. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10; Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The Psalmist says in Psalm 60:11 "give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man." Indeed, when the help of man fails us, we tend to get into desperation, frustration, depression and despair, especially when we choose to trust in the help of human beings and human institutions. These indeed may and will often fail us. Nevertheless, amidst all our troubles and challenges, we must never lose heart for our help comes from the Lord God who made heaven and earth. His help never fails. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10; Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Jesus Christ describes His generation as an evil generation on account of their refusal to repent from their sins and turn to God in genuine conversion. They were rather interested in seeking signs. Our generation, I'm afraid, is, in this regard, very much like the generation of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, therefore, challenges us today to sincerely turn away from sin, and embrace the life of true righteousness built on genuine conversion. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Jonah 3:1-10; Psalms 32, 41 and 121 from 1st to 9th March, 2023.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Greed and selfishness are indicative of lack of faith in Divine Province, just as contentment demonstrates faith in God and in His ability to look after us. Jesus Christ teaches us today to ask and trust God for our daily bread. This will help us stay contented, fulfilled, and free from many sinful inclinations and tendencies. The desire to acquire and hoard resources for decades and centuries in the quest to secure our future all by ourselves and outside of God leaves us greatly vulnerable to sin and vices. Be contented with asking God each day for your daily bread and trust Him for same. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Whatever a person sows is what he/she shall reap. Today we're reminded that there shall always be a moment of reckoning; a time that each gets the appropriate rewards for his/her actions, inactions and words. As we continue with the electioneering process, God warns us today not to neglect to do that which is right, lawful and just. This is because the Nigerian people will judge each of us for what we've done or failed to do and will come at us on the day of reckoning. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. In the history of every human person or institution or nation, there is always a history-changing and history-making moment; a moment that comes with a paradigm shift. Now is the moment to do away with the yoke that has dominated your life before now for God Himself has chosen to visit you and do away with the yoke provided we accept to turn away from our sinful and wicked ways of life and embrace the life of righteousness in Christ Jesus.
