After Khamzat Chimaev and Dricus Du Plessis' wrestling heavy main event that went down at UFC 319, there have been a lot of wild takes about wrestling in the sport and how it needs to go away. Without wrestling there simply is no MMA and it's literally what the sport was founded on. You can watch other martial arts like kickboxing that basically have everything you want, but it's obvious that without the other grappling arts including, you simply aren't watching the best in the world.
