Anyone who has ever encountered a burpee probably has a question, and that question is, whyyyyyyyyyyy?

For anyone who hasn't encountered a burpee, they look something like this.

And they are as unpleasant as you might imagine.

But, it turns out that there's a very good reason as to why we torture ourselves all in the name of getting healthier.
