Everything 9000 Podcast

Cloud 9000 presents the Everything 9000 podcast. Join us as we discuss relevant hot topics that are seen in the news and across UK culture.

In this episode we take a look at the European Super League. Recently, 12 of the biggest clubs in Europe announced without warning that they will be making a breakaway league and have their own competition without the possibility of being relegated. This caused a huge stir in media worldwide - even if you're not a football fan, it seemed all anyone talked about (for 48 hours at least) was the ESL. We unpack why it was such a big deal, why people in the UK in particular felt like it was a victory once all teams renounced their position.

PS, Sergio Perez if you're watching good luck at the F1 this weekend - the Real Madrid President is Florentino Perez*... oops!
