TRIGGER WARNING CHILD DEATH

On a make-up 'snow day' in Delphi Indiana, 13 year old Abby Williams and Libby German decided to go explore the Monon High Bridge and walking trail. Libby's dad Derek had agreed to pick them up at 3:30pm when he was on his way home from work. When Derek arrived at the agreed upon meeting spot , the girls were no where to be found. The next day, which was valentines day, the bodies of Liberty and Abigail were found, and an investigation for a killer began. With the girls bodies being found outside, and no other clues to go off of, this was going to be an extremely difficult investigation. Until they realized that 14 year old Libby would have had the forethought to take out her cell phone, and record the man at the bridge that day, who was making the girls uncomfortable, and she was able to also hide the phone so after she got a video of the suspect, they also had his voice from the audio that recorded while the phone was in her pocket. This is the devastating case of the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

In todays episode, we will discuss the discovery of Kurt's body.  And what role did the private investigator, Tom Grant, (who was hired by Courtney Love) play on keeping the theory going, that Kurt had been killed ?  Also, why would Courtney Love, tastelessly simulate the death of her late husband, while on stage with her band Hole? Is it just tacky or is Courtney responsible more something more nefarious?

The man, the myth, the legend; the late, great Kurt Cobain.  Admittedly , growing up, i knew little to nothing about Nirvana, but after diving into the research for this case, I have truly come to appreciate Kurt for the artist he was.  He absolutely had his demons, but his talent is undeniable.

So, what happened on April 5th of 1994, three days before his body would be discovered in a small room above his garage, at his Lake Washington East Blvd home?

Had Kurt taken his own life, or was his life taken from him?

In this episode we will discuss Kurt, and who he was as a person, and what state of mind was he in leading up to his death?

And, just to lighten up the mood, Matt will enlighten us with a list of (lame) things that only white people say, so, 'Lets get down to brass tacks' (spoiler alert, <--  thats one of them.
