TRIGGER WARNING- involving a child, and sexual assault. On October 1st of 1993, 12 year old Polly Klaas, had 2 of her best friends; Kate and Gillian over for a fun sleep over. After the girls got into some fun with makeup, nintendo, and a board game, Polly opened the door to her bedroom, to find a man, dressed all in dark clothing, holding a dark duffel bag.  After binding and gagging Kate and Gillian, the man told them to count to 1,000 and by the time they were finished he would be gone and Polly would be back in her room.  Sadly, that was not the case.  As Gillian ran through the home looking for her friend, Kate went across the hallway, where Polly's sleeping mother and sister were, and What Polly's mom Eve would wake up to was a complete nightmare.  This is the case of Americas child; Polly Klaas

TRIGGER WARNING-Discussion of suicide, please use discretion. 

At the base of Mount Fuji, in Japan there is a forest, that is known to lure the sad and lost visitors off of the path, and into the depth of the forest, where they end up taking their own lives.  Media has stopped reporting on how many complete suicide in Aokigahara, in hopes of stopping those who have romanticized the idea, and seek out the forest to spend their last hours on earth. Even still, there is an annual walk through of the forest where, police, volunteers and reporters go and look to bring home the bodies of those who followed through with their plan, in order to give their families some peace.  Even, without reports, it is still estimated that over 100 people per year end there lives, under the eerily quiet canopy of tree.  Is it just the serenity and calm of the woods that make this the place that people want to spend their last moments?  or is it something more sinister?

On August 10th of 2017, freelance journalist, Kim Wall received an invitation, that she had been hoping would have been extended for months.  Days before moving to China with her boyfriend, Kim was asked, by very well known entrepreneur; Peter Madsen, to join him in his self made Submarine which was called the UC3 Nautilus, and, he would grant her the interview that she had been hoping for.  Kim was only supposed to be gone for 2 hours, that evening, but when hours had passed and her boyfriend was was starting to get nervous, he called the police.  The next day, authorities would find Peter, on a life boat next to his sinking submarine, but Kim was no where to be found. What happened to Kim on that fateful launch?

On December 7th of 2020, at the height of covid, while everyone's nerve were shot, Katie Sorensen, a mother to 3 young children, posted a warning to her blog.

According to Katie, while on a trip out to Michaels Craft Store, with her two youngest children, a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl.  They had narrowly avoided the unthinkable, what Katie perceived to be an attempted child abduction.

On her way home from the craft store, Clearly rattled, Katie called the Petaluma PD, and filed a report.  And on her blog a few days later, Katie uploaded a warning to other parents. 

On it, Katie lists the reasons that she felt as though, she and her children were at risk.

Days after the incident, police would release a picture of the suspects that they had from the security footage.

After seeing themselves, with the warning that they were wanted for questioning in an attempted child abduction, you can only imagine the surprise felt by Sadie and Eddie Martinez.  And the couple turned themselves in right away.  According to Sadie and Eddie, they were only in the store so that they could purchase a new baby Jesus for their nativity scene.

Was this the story of a mother who was genuinely scared for the well being, and felt that she was under a threat, or was this someone looking to gain followers for her mommy blog, and things got terribly out of hand.  Let us know what you think!

HUGE TRIGGER WARNING!

This one is upsetting. Physical and sexual abuse on a child, death of a child, and the evil sack of bones that commits these acts is an actual nightmare of a human being, proceed with caution.

This case took place on May 16th of 2005, Shasta Rae Groene was asleep, in her home, when her mother frantically ran into her room at 6am to wake her. Shastas mother would only tell the 8 year old that, "there is a man in the house who doesn't want us to be here. After, she and her 9 year old brother Dylan, followed mother to the living room, Shasta would see her stepdad Mark and older brother Slade, bound face down, while a man with a mask and shot gun stood over them.

After binding the remaining family members, the man, would take Dylan and Shasta and place them outside underneath an apple tree, after beating her family with a hammer, the man would return and place the two youngest family members into his red Jeep and, would then drive for hours.

What would happen in the next 7 weeks, is truly the stuff nightmares are made of. I would like to hear your thoughts on this case.

In part 2 of our coverage of Edmund Kemper AKA The Co-Ed killer, we will continue to learn of the awful things that Ed did, we will also learn that there was actually TWO serial killers active at the exact same time in the exact same area.  But, when one is caught, the police find out that there wildest fears are confirmed. And, sadly Ed would continue on with his displacement killings, until he confronted the one person who he had wanted to rage against all along.  His mother; Clarnelle.

After killing his grandparents, in cold blood at the age of 15, Edmund Kemper the 3rd was only sentenced to time in a mental health hospital until he was deemed well enough to be released. 

In this case, that was only 5 years.  The hospital strongly suggested that Ed, not be released into the custody of his mothers, due to some, very worrisome behavior and thoughts that they had observed in him when it came to his mother Clarnelle.   But, of course that was exactly who he went to live with up on his release.  And who knows, if it was this decision that led to Ed becoming one of the most prolific serial killers of all time, but it certainly did not help.  This is part one of The Co-ed killer Edmund Kemper.
