Around 22,000 couples have made the tough decision to cancel or postpone their wedding since the country first went into lockdown in March 2020.

While some couples have had beautiful and intimate ceremonies surrounded by their loved ones, Sara Kennedy from Irish Wedding Blog says the industry was 'turned on its head' within a matter of days.

Sadly, 2021 hasn't gotten off to the start that we'd all hoped and those planning to say 'I Do' this year are facing an anxious wait to see if they will get down the aisle.
