This is something that I wish would be discussed more in our field. I would say it's almost as important knowing the muscles of the body, how they move, as well as various nutrition principles. Below are a couple of resources that I found geared for fitness professionals, but I think they are equally important for clients to read as well.

You don't see as many fitness influencers as you once did, but they are still out there. They have just changed there tactics a little given some social media platforms have changed their algorithms a little.

Episode 43: Training and Exercise as an Art Form
This was one of those episodes that I had been thinking about for a long time. It's something that was hard for me early in my education and career to really wrap my head around. I didn't quite understand that science and research didn't have all the answers. Implementation of that science wasn't something that I had really been confronted with until I started doing personal training and coaching on a regular basis.

Episode 42: A Case for Creatine
This is still hands down one of the most researched and used supplements out there, but, there is still so many questions about it. It took a long time for me to decide whether I wanted to do an episode on it, but in the end decided that it might be helpful to someone out there.Â

So it's been almost a year since my last podcast, I don't really have a good explanation except for.....life happens. Â However, with that time off, I've been able to finally pull together some projects that I've been working on for a little to long now. And I'm pretty excited to show them off. Â
The first is Evolved Athletic Academy, which is setup to be really similar to Udemy and other online learning platforms. As you can imagine though, this is where I will be posting fitness and health related learning content. Â The second project is a community page called Evolved Athletix Community, it has the look and feel of s social networking page, but without the ads and other distractions that can be found on large sites. The best part, both sites are completely dedicated to one topic.
