Excerpt from the book "Exhilarated Life: Discovering Inner Happiness" Since I wrote this chapter in my book Exhilarated Life, it seems that the 5:95 ratio - truth to lies has eroded even further. I'm not even talking about politicians or corporate leaders. Sad to say that for me the liars were no longer strangers but 'trusted' family members. Now, that was a harsh truth. It seems that deceit is a championed way of life at times. But those who know the truth know that what we do to one we do to ourselves.

Death is a lover of LIFE. The same lover that is present at our birth. The circuit is already complete. Our exit is unwritten and what happens between Birth and Death is our Purpose. In this excerpt from my book Exhilarated Life, I explore the truth that our life purpose is to be all that we can be. The randomness of the conspiring elements of our biological makeup point to the unique and precious contribution we have to the world. The correct context for that deep understanding, we must embrace the fact of our death with the same acceptance of our birth.

In the theme of redemption of this chapter from my book Exhilarated Life, I question the difference whether we redeem ourselves to an outside authority or an inner divinity?
Excerpt from my book Exhilarated Life: Discovering Inner Happiness
In this first of three parts from my book Exhilarated Life, I wonder how we allot portions of happiness in our life. Is it just a memory from childhood, a reward for good behavior or the defining measure of our life?
There is a joke that goes, a man said to an unhappy young woman, "Cheer up, things could be worse." So she cheered up and sure enough, things got worse. In part 2 of 3 chapters from my book Exhilarated Life, I share that 'worse' is another way of calling for a deeper dive into a life lesson. And it helps to keep a sense of humor.

Soul Journey - Themes and Healing
Soul journeys are to better understand human themes, work out karmic themes with family and intimate relationships. We often share themes with other family members -- some play "goodies" , some play "baddies". With this perspective, we can step away from the shame and blame cycle. The journey is for growth, often triggered by conflict. Once we recognize these spiritual stepping stones to self-love and self-awareness through forgiving ourselves and others, life becomes more lighthearted and playful.

Understanding Soul Journeys
The inner journey of life is a never ending adventure of love and discovery of all we might be. Our map is often through the minefield of relationships. The idea is that we have made agreements with fellow souls, made contracts to help each other expand spiritually. There can be challenges and emotional responses – it's important to express emotions, feel the feelings rather than suppress them. And finally to take the nugget of the lesson and release what no longer serves us.
Exercise: Open the heart, the "seat of the soul" with breathing and toning with the power of our voices.

Self-Love and Self-Actualization rise up in the expression of our Soul's longing. We are being guided - but are we listening? Do we know how?
"COVID Chrysalis" - the tightness of continued uncertainty is leading many to a new version of self. It's a reflective time to reconsider values, priorities and to hear the whisper within that has been hushed by our busy lives. We have the opportunity to open to our soul self, find the inner voice, discern between Ego and Soul voices. They are both necessary but or different functions. Sometimes, this get confused. Here we take a moment to focus on our hearts to form Soul connection, and meditate on our hearts.
