Friends, this week’s episode is a very special one. On September 28th we gathered at Unity of Daytona Beach for a Celebration of Life Service—a chance for our community to honor those we’ve loved and lost but couldn’t memorialize in person. Together we prayed, reflected, and lit candles to remember and release.

Our guest, acclaimed singer-songwriter Daniel Nahmod, filled the sanctuary with his own heartfelt original songs, including “Two Places at the Same Time", “Grace”, “Made It Home", “Last Song,” and “When It’s Time.” His music beautifully underscored the message that we are not just bodies—we are souls, eternally loved by God.

I pray that this service comforts and uplifts you as much as it did for us in person. Thank you, Daniel, for permitting us to share your music here and for blessing our congregation with your gift.

Hello, dear friends—this week we honor the International Day of Peace with a message that begins right where we are: “The peace I seek is the peace I am.” Together we explore Mark 4:35–40—Jesus calming the storm—and how Unity’s metaphysical lens invites us to calm the storms of thought and feeling so peace can lead. I also share a quick tour of the COEXIST banner (the many symbols and why they matter), a reminder that peace is active creation, and a simple challenge: take a one-day fast from news and social media to make space for God’s stillness.

Near the close, I invite Shawn up and we sing a short centering chorus—“Thank You, God”—and then we end with a gentle guided meditation offered by one of our platform assistants. May this practice help you hear that inner voice whisper, “Peace, be still,” and carry it into your week.
