MONIQUE LEACOX is the fitness coach you want if your are looking for results. Monique is the successful small business owner of Pace Fitness Sacramento. Today we pull the curtain back on Pace Fit Sac. What started out as workouts for individuals and small groups out of her home now serves as a family-friendly (the trainers will hold babies while mom or dad works out) 9000-square foot space for cross fit, Olympic weight-lifting, small + large group training. JOHN O' SULLIVAN is the most insightful person I have found when it comes to youth sports. O'Sullivan is the founder of the CHANGING THE GAME PROJECT that features blogs, the Way of Champions podcast, and online courses for coaches and parents. The goal is to start a discussion about changing the environment in youth sports so we can keep more kids active, healthy and involved in physical activity. Today we talk everything YOUTH SPORTS!

SCOTT SHAPIRO loves Tiki Bars. And after this episode, I think you will, too. In February, Shapiro (who is a successful attorney by day), met with three friends and mapped out a Tiki Bar Tour that featured 17 Tiki Bars in the Bay Area. The fun part is that they did this tour in 55 hours. Imagine the strategy. Shapiro comes to us from his backyard Tiki Bar and gives us the full experience that includes the making of an authentic Mai Tai. This is a FUN episode!

BOBBY SIRAVO is an important piece of the GOLF community in Sacramento. He has played. He has been a club champion. He has been an instructor. He was a caddy on the PGA Tour . And since 2004, he has been the owner of iFit Golf that specializes in club fitting and repairs for ALL golfers. And throw in there that is the Golf Coach for Jesuit High School. Safe to say, golf has been Bobby's life and he LOVES it!

DANIELLE VIGLIONE is the best Female Basketball Player from Sacramento that I have ever seen. The Michigan native moved to California and by her 8th grade year, she was being recruited by close to 100 schools. She shined at Del Campo High School, smashing scoring and three-point records in 1992 and 1993. From there, Viglione settled in at the University of Texas under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach Jody Conradt. 98 starts were highlighted by a school record 48 points as a freshman. She finished as the top three-point scorer in school history. And what if I told you, I have just scratched the surface with Danielle. There is so much more.

Believe it or not, the highlight of Danielle's story comes when she was injured for the first time in her career. JULIA PERKOVICH is a second generation family law attorney at Perkovich Law Office. Julia's parents, Don + Nancy Perkovich, practiced family law for over 30 years. It's safe to say that family law was in the genes. Mom and Dad are retired and as of three years ago, it is Julia heading the way as a family law attorney ... with a twist. See, Julia made the decision to become a non-litigation attorney where she could help keep families going through divorce out of the classroom. In just over 10 years, what started as a solo project has now turned into opening up DA's fifth location in El Dorado Hills in March. Today we get a peek into what is behind Shawna's success. RICK COLE is successfully carrying the torch of his father Glen. The Father and Son have combined for 43 years as the Senior Pastor of one of the most well-known churches in the Sacramento area ... Capital Christian Center. You have seen it. Highway 50 near the Bradshaw Road exit. In this episode, we do a deep dive with the pastor.

It turned into two weeks.  Safe to say, it was life-changing and Cole shares what he learned from that experience. Oh yeah! He wrote a book sharing his experience. Cole gives us a glimpse into one of the many programs he has orchestrated called "Character Combine."

Our Connection |  Wee have never met. I was inspired when I caught Rick talking about his homeless experience during a Bible Conference held at my home church, Bayside Granite Bay.  It was one of those moments when I said to myself, "this is an interview I want to have."

ANDREA BARBER knows officiating. She has been doing it for 30 years and runs Hawkins Officiating in Sacramento. She is ready to help all of us understand the world of officiating. • SEGMENT 1 🏀 Andrea kicks the episode off with what it is to be a sports official. She gives us the background on Hawkins Officiating and how they originated along with what their business model is all about. Not what you would expect. We finish off the segment with Andrea describing her 'paying the bills' job and her childhood. 
• SEGMENT 2 🏈 is pure GOLD! I love this segment. Life of an official. Expectations we have on officials. Different league, different rules. The emotional coach. Do officials come into a game with a bias? Approaching officials. And finally ... coaches being role models for the kids on their team.
• SEGMENT 3 🏅 starts with an idea. Coaches being officials before they are coaches. What if you would like to be an official? Andrea shows the way and discusses what kind of money one can make as an official. Then we finish off with the behind-the-scenes look of what Andrea's responsibilities are when it comes to scheduling officials. You will be blown away. And I have always wondered ... "why do officials always have a nice appearance?" Andrea provides the answer.

Our Connection |  Hawkins has been the official officiating service of my Winter Basketball League for close to 15 years. Andrea, along with her business partners Steve Harank, Jay Crawley, and the late Woody Watkins, have been amazing friends and partners. And a big part of it is exactly what Andrea describes in this episodes. It's about the relationships.
