Progressives are utopian statists, deeply naive, willfully so, about human nature and the dangers of consolidated power. They mistakenly seek utopia in a fallen world. All of this nonsense is leading progressive statists to double down on their subversion from within.  Almost all of the top progressives are communists working on using the stolen power of the administrative state to control and punish the elected officials that try to stop their abuses and drain the swamp.
