Today, on Karl and Crew Mornings, we continued our theme about the lessons learned from the life of David, and we discussed our reactions to our failures...specifically our lack to react.  The scripture references were II Samuel 13 and 14.  What area in your life has God called you to act, but you've remained silent (James 4:17)?  Our special guest was Becky Harling.  She is a sought after speaker, mentor, co-host of the Connected Mom, and an author.  Her new book is called, "Our Father: A Study of the Lord's Prayer".  Becky shared how father wounds can shape our faith.  We heard again from Dan Allender.  Dan is a professor of Counseling Psychology in Seattle, and he speaks exensively on abuse, trauma, and recovery.  He's the author of several books, and today we highlighted, "The Wounded Heart".  Dan has a powerful personal story of overcoming, and he shared how Jesus can use heartache.  Finally, today is Giving Day at Moody Bible Institute.  MBI President, Dr. Mark Jobe joined us to help explain the purpose and events of the day.  Hear highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast by clicking the audio button below.
