Chapter 4: Bring Me To Life literally wakes Eternity up inside (can’t wake up).

Thank goodness we get to talk about gold enemas, a welcome distraction as production on ‘Zac?’ comes to a halt due to Jared Leto’s ‘Morbius 2: More Bees’ commitments.

FINALLY we get some incredible outfit descriptions, including pink stuff and pointed boots. Darren makes a request for human blood, ants are turned into pencils, AND we get the most EP!C toast!! To depression! To darkness! To vampires! To heavy metal music! To this mini-season almost being over!

Chapter 3: Duality brings some much-needed warm fuzzies into the MIU.

Shooting on 'Zac?' has hit a few road bumps, perhaps due to the increasingly erractic behaviour of the executive producer and titular character, so Zac is able to make it into the studio again. Starting off with a strong mansplanation of how art works and a reveal of his current Hollywood BFF, Zac then pitches an innovative plan for how we can monetise the podcast before we dive into Chapter 3: Duality.

Raven declares what time period her work is set in (2006, DUH) and confirms that Eternity is indeed joining the first years at Beautiful Castle (trademark), then we follow Draco and Panny into the dungeons. Eternity sees a VERY familiar face, and then the night goes on "really well."

Zac is feeling pretty tired and is missing Bidet and Keanu, but he's made it back from LA to read Chapter 2: The Beautiful People.

In Chapter 2, Eternity disembarks from a train, sees a beautiful castle, and follows a large, bearded man into some little boats. She interacts with a prep wearing a Hilary Duff t-shirt (blood) then meets some goths. Half of the goths have goffik names, while the others use their own names, prompting a discussion about whether or not it's possible for a teenager to successfully create their own nickname. Three guesses which House Eternity is Sorted into!!!1!!2!1!!!

Zac has found time in his busy schedule to fly in from LA and record a mini-season reading the companion work to 'My Immortal', 'I'm Not Okay' by none other than the queen of beta readers herself, Raven!

Thanks to Fangfiction Season 1, Zac is off in LA living the high life, having optioned his life out to Netflix to make 'Zac?', a biopic about his life. Lucy, meanwhile, is still a suburban mum going to yoga classes and doing her own grocery shopping. Can these two still see each other through the blinding lights of fame? You guys, we have made it. We have FINISHED My Immortal!!!111111!!2!1

It's the final episode of Fangfiction Season 1! Zac has put on his wildest outfit, Lucy is doing her best to finally get cancelled once and for all - we're pulling out all the stops, baby! We do an epic recap, including a return to the best opening paragraph in history, and make predictions for the closing chapters. In this Very Special Episode, we read two versions of Chapter 39! 

Don't know how it's taken this long, but this week we talk SHIPPING! Lucy walks Zac through the beauty and madness of fanon shipping, and Zac writes a Larry fic on mic. Zac leads Lucy down a road of utterly mysterious ship names. Who or WHAT is Banglesnatch???

A "Trolling Genious" hacked into Tara's account while she was on vocation and posted their My Immortal fanfic as the 39th chapter. We then get to Tara's chapter 39, which takes us in a wildly different direction. The hacker breathes some new life into My Immortal, reminding us why we love this fic enough to spend SIX MONTHS reading it. We sing, we shout, we go on tangents... it's Fangfiction at its finest, baby!
