It's our longest and most serious episode yet! We talk sincerely about how fans reclaim and transform their favourite works for the greater good, and what being a true fan means to us. After celebrating the beauty of fan fiction we get sticky with the greatest exception to the rule the internet has ever seen. Fishnets are torn, pentagrams are turned into guitars, and a certain best band ever might or not be playing a very special gig.

Also HUGE REVEAL as it turns out Lucy has been writing her own fan fiction. She has been trying to hide it from me (Zac) but she made the mistake of letting me both edit and post this episode. We're somehow already a quarter of the way through My Immortal! After a very brief discussion of the highlights and lowlights we've encountered thus far, we can't help but dive straight back into the story. The chaos ramps up AGAIN in these chapters, and we find ourselves trying to navigate mastication, horny simpletons, a gothic cover of a 50 Cent song, and Lucy's flawless Snape impression.

We are characteristically unprepared today, but we finally stumble across a discussion: love triangles! Turns out, neither of us are particularly well-equipped to discuss love triangles, but we can agree that My Immortal offers up an extremely juicy version of a love triangle. We learn that Tara didn't read all the boox before embarking on this work, which justifies her (absolutely fantastic) characterisation of Dumbledore. Ebony receives a terrible ultimatum, Draco creeps around corners and pops up at inopportune moments, Ebony goes to BAND PRACTICE, and we finally see some SPELLS!
