Growing up punishments were administered by my parents, teachers, coaches, ect. In general, the punishments administered seemed reasonable to the corresponding offense. It seemed the death penalty was society’s answer to those who committed the worst crimes. In this episode we discuss how I challenged my younger self’s assumptions and how the Church looks at the death penalty.

Thought-out human history, cultures that went from wanting to strive to achieve other’s successes to wanting to destroy the individual/group who has the success have destroyed their own culture/civilization. In this episode we discuss the reality and churches teaching on the temptation of wanting to bring others down rather than building ourselves up.
