CNN has become the laughing stock of news networks. That's not a small accomplishment. In a country where news has largely become political opinion and petty squabbling cloaked in a "fair and balanced." slogan, it's saying something to be a bottom of the barrel news organization.
When you consider there are government sponsored new networks like RT, who are more honest and accurate than CNN, you have to ask yourself how they continue to stay on the air.
Well, you can add another bruise to the already tarnished reputation of CNN. One of the high school students asked to read a question at a recent CNN town hall meeting refused to attend after he said CNN refused to allow him to ask his question and instead requested he read a canned question from the network.
CNN, of course, openly denied planting a question but what would you expect them to do? They certainly aren't going to admit to doing it even though they have a history of less than honest, open forums.
The truth is, CNN is just one of many news networks that have lost the trust of the public. What I'm trying to do is be that voice of truth. Agree with my opinion or disagree at least you know you're getting the truth inside the story.
