157 - Complaining can feel like a quick release, but it often lowers your energy and keeps your body in a stress response longer than you realize.
In Episode 157, I share a simple way to break the complaining habit using the STOP method. You’ll see how your thoughts trigger the pattern, how it carries through your day, and how it shows up in your routines and relationships.
This episode gives you a practical way to catch it earlier and shift your response so you’re not stuck in that loop.
If you’ve been feeling drained, frustrated, or noticing patterns that aren’t helping, this will help you approach them differently.
I’m also hosting the Out of the Miserable Maybe Workshop on Saturday, April 25th at 1PM (in person and on Zoom).
If you’ve been stuck in indecision, you’ll leave with a clear plan and next step.

156 - Spring is often associated with cleaning out closets and tackling home projects. But before organizing your physical space, what if you paused to reset something even more important…your energy?
In this episode, Clarenda shares three questions that can help you recognize what may be draining your energy and what could restore it. Many capable women are working hard in many areas of life yet still feel mentally tired, stuck in stress eating habits, or frustrated with their energy and weight.
Often the issue is unnoticed mental clutter, lingering decisions, and goals that aren’t truly aligned with what would make the biggest impact.
In this episode you’ll discover:
1. How unfinished tasks and decisions create hidden “energy leaks”
2. A simple way to notice the thoughts draining your energy
3. Why your daily energy patterns matter more than you may realize
4. How identifying one true “needle-mover” can create a ripple effect in your health and confidence
If you’d like support identifying your biggest energy drain or deciding what your needle-mover could be for this season, you’re invited to book a complimentary 20-minute consult.

Spring is a natural time for renewal. Sometimes the most powerful reset begins with a single question that helps you see your life and your energy differently. Are you ready for a new spark of hope?

155 - What if the thing you’re most afraid of… is actually the doorway to your best version yet?
In this episode, I talk about a concept called “Failure Gold” - the insight and growth that only becomes available after taking imperfect action.
Many of the women I work with aren’t lacking information. They’re capable. They’ve read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Tried the plans. What holds them back isn’t a lack of knowledge, it’s the fear of failing again.
So instead of taking action, they hesitate. They wait until they feel more ready. More certain. More confident. But confidence doesn’t come before action. It comes from evaluating what happened after action.
In this conversation, we explore:
What didn’t work isn’t proof that you can’t succeed. It’s feedback about how your unique mind, body, stress response, and habits operate. And when you’re willing to slow down and look at that feedback, instead of running from it, you begin to move forward with more clarity and less emotional drama.
This episode will help you shift from:
“I failed again.”
to
“What value can I extract from this learning?”
If you’re ready to stop avoiding and start learning, I offer complimentary 20-minute conversations.
Click here to book at the most convenient time and day for you.
You don’t have to do this alone. We are stronger together.
P.S. “Failure Gold” was coined by my business coach, Stacey Boehman

154 - If you feel wired and tired, emotionally stretched thin, or stuck in “always on” mode, this episode explores a practical and often overlooked tool: your sense of smell.
I’m joined by Jennifer Pressimone, Clinical Aromatherapist and Holistic Health Educator, to discuss how scent interacts with the limbic brain and nervous system. We talk about emotional regulation, habit patterns, stress recovery, and the powerful connection between smell and memory.
You’ll learn:
– how scent bypasses overthinking
– why personalization matters
– how to use specific oils as supportive anchors
– and why this matters in midlife
If stress and overload have been ongoing for you, you’re invited to The Noise Detox beginning February 18, 2026.
You can also book a complimentary consult if you’d like to explore your health goals and next steps.

153 - Chronic inflammation often isn’t obvious. It builds quietly over time and can influence how your body feels in ways that don’t always make sense at first.
In this episode of the Feel Light Mind & Body podcast, Clarenda explores chronic inflammation from a whole-body perspective. Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, the conversation looks at how inflammation develops, what tends to drive it, and how it interacts with the nervous system, hormones, metabolism, and immune response, particularly in midlife.
This episode is for women who are noticing patterns - changes in energy, sleep, weight, or overall resilience - and want a clearer understanding of what may be happening beneath the surface.
You’ll be guided through:
The focus isn’t on perfection or pushing harder. It’s on awareness, understanding, and learning how to support your body in a way that works with it, not against it.
If stress and disrupted sleep have been part of your daily experience, you’re invited to The Noise Detox, a free 8-day online experience designed to reduce mental overload and support nervous system regulation. It’s intentionally simple and doesn’t take long each day.
If you’d like help figuring out which piece matters most for you right now, Clarenda also offers a complimentary 20-minute consult – a no-pressure conversation to talk through what you’re experiencing and explore supportive next steps.

152 - If you’re a woman over 40 who feels exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck in “I’ll deal with it later” mode, this episode offers clarity and relief.
In Episode 152 of the Feel Light Mind & Body podcast, Clarenda Price explains why overriding your body’s signals leads to burnout, weight gain, poor sleep, and low energy, and why the answer isn’t more discipline or force.
You’ll learn how stress and biology influence decision-making, why resistance is often protective rather than lazy, and how choosing your “hard” intentionally can prevent the harder consequences that build over time.
This episode focuses on awareness, nervous system regulation, and values-based decisions that support real life, not perfection.
You’ll walk away with:
1. A better understanding of how chronic stress affects your body and energy
2. Insight into why waiting to start often makes change feel harder
3. A clear explanation of “why nots” and how they hold you back
4. A simple, powerful action step to regain momentum without pressure
5. Reassurance that you’re not broken, just under-supported
If today’s conversation resonated, Clarenda invites you to take the next step in a supportive, pressure-free way.

151 - Some of the biggest drains on your energy don’t come from being busy or lacking discipline. They come from emotional patterns you were never taught how to recognize or work with.
In this episode of the Feel Light Mind and Body podcast, Clarenda Price, former Registered Nurse and Certified Life & Weight Loss Coach, explores how emotions, expectations, and unexamined patterns quietly affect your energy, stress levels, eating habits, and ability to lose weight.
This conversation is especially relevant for busy, successful women over 40 who know what to do, yet still feel drained, overwhelmed, or stuck during challenging seasons of life. Clarenda shares real client examples and science-based insights to explain why willpower isn’t the problem, and why emotional awareness and nervous system regulation are essential for lasting change.
You’ll learn:
This episode goes beyond weight loss and speaks to the real-life challenges that shape health choices every day.

150 - Most women don’t suddenly feel stuck…they arrive there slowly. A nudge ignored. A decision postponed. A quiet sense that something needs attention, but not today.
In this episode of the Feel Light Mind and Body podcast, Clarenda Price explores the exhausting in-between space she calls the Miserable Maybe where indecision quietly drains energy, clarity, and confidence.
Drawing on her background as a former nurse and certified life and weight loss coach, Clarenda explains why indecision often feels heavier than action, how ignoring early signals creates mental exhaustion, and how proactive support leads to gentler, more sustainable change.
You’ll hear reflections on:
If you’re tired of starting and stopping, overthinking, or telling yourself you’ll deal with it later, this episode will help you understand what’s really draining your energy and how to take your next right step.

You’ll be guided to:
1. Begin with gratitude and expand your awareness
2. Capture what you’re celebrating, including micro wins that matter
3. Look at challenges and lows without rushing past the emotion
