The setting and seasons may change, but the rebellious heart of man does not. Jesus comes back to Jerusalem several months later and the religious just want to accuse Him of hidden speech and failure. Jesus' parable against the false teachers of religion was (is) about more than following Jesus or enjoying His protection against those who care nothing for others, it ultimately is a demonstration and ministry of LOVE & POWER. Because of the Love Jesus and the Father enjoy, all of Jesus's sheep benefit in experiencing His power. John 10:17-21.

What qualifies Jesus as the GOOD Shepherd? What motivates Him to be the kind of shepherd He is? What does this mean for His sheep and their response? Powerful questions that effect more than just our relationship with Him. Jesus' KNOWS His sheep and His sheep KNOW Him. Whose sheep are you? John 10:11-16.

Addressing the religious leaders and the crowd, Jesus explains His love and devotion for His followers. Jesus does not use violence or deceit, nor does He take what is not His own. Jesus simply calls His sheep and they follow behind Him into His Life. WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING? John 10-1-10.

After witnessing the horrific response and treatment of the religious leaders toward Jesus' followers, Jesus uses the literary device of analogy to describe His love and relationship with those who follow Him. God's Light is eternal because the Light is God. He gives purpose and meaning to all that is and He has chosen to make His dwelling (presence) available to men by His choice.
