Portfolio manager Eileen Dibb joins us today, to unpack the latest developments across the Asia-Pacific region, and to discuss how she’s currently positioning Fidelity AsiaStar Fund and Fidelity Japan Fund. Eileen notes that China remains a high potential region regardless of the COVID-zero policy that’s resulting in one of the most restrictive lockdowns in the world. She shares that sectors such as ESG and EVs showing a lot of potential. Eileen also discusses inflation in Asia-Pacific, the internet sector, opportunities in Japan and opportunities in India, including detailing how India could benefit from geopolitical issues between China and the U.S.
