We began this podcast because fighters are fascinating. The mentality needed to prepare for war intrigues us, and the lengths these warriors are prepared to go to in order to win is astounding. So when we see an accomplished Olympian, quit because he was getting embarrassed, you better be ready for us to erupt. We tell you exactly what we think on Rigondeaux on the same night Stephen Smith fought with his ear hanging off.

We also preview this weeks fights including Billy Joe Saunders trip to Canada.

This weekend we have a history making fight in New York but are the fans bothered? The event is in the smaller Theater at MSG rather than the Garden which tells you all you need to know but there's no denying the two fighters credentials. Never before have we seen 2 double Olympic gold medalists meet in the pro ranks. Lets hope Loma vs Rigo lives up to the purists billing rather than the casual interest.
