Fight Disciples Podcast

The trolling is gathering momentum.  At first it seemed that it was all a bit of fun but there's real substance in the message.

We fully expect a second hybrid fight between Mayweather and McGregor to happen and discuss its possibilities on this weeks show.

We also look back on UFC Perth and that devastating Yoel Romero Knock Out of Luke Rockhold.

The world boxing super series has been magnificent and it just keeps getting better.

We also speak about the possible weight categories for next year in the tournament and how do we judge greatness with Roy Jones Jr calling time on his career.

A couple of weeks out from Cage Warriors 90, three of Liverpool's leading mixed martial artists take over this week's Radio City Talk show and there's plenty of tears, jeers and new frontiers being discussed by 'Meatball' Molly McCann, Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett and Lee 'The Butcher' Chadwick. Just sit back and enjoy a Scouse-a-rama of breaking news and big fight previews.

The refereeing in Belem at the weekend was embarrassing and sadly dominates our talking points for this weeks show.  As does weight cutting as does dodgy decisions.

We do actually speak about some upcoming actual fights too in the shape of Rockhold vs Romero in Perth this weekend!

The world boxing super series has been magnificent and it just keeps getting better.

What a Cruiserweight final we have to look forward to in May when Usyk takes on Gassiev after the later came through his semi final in impressive fashion at the weekend.

We also speak about a disappointing night at the O2, the bonus of Buatsi and the possibility of redemption for David Price.

Former world champion Paul Butler joins the Fight Disciples in studio to ask Jamie McDonnell to “defend or vacate” so he can get it on with Liborio Solis on April 21st. He also gets stuck into the World Boxing Super Series tournament and predicts this weekend’s British Beef cruiserweight matchup. And he gives an honest assessment on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side as pressure mounts on another trophy-less season at his beloved Anfield.

If you're older than 15 years of age and tweet regularly about WWE then you need to have a proper word with yourself.  Ronda 'returns' to the limelight by becoming a glorified stunt girl in the latex world of fake combat.

Meanwhile in the real smack down of the UFC her former employers are focusing heavily on making champion vs champion showdowns.

After a phenomenal weekend for the Cruiserweight's in the world boxing super series, we turn our attention to the British prospects in the division.

Lawrence Okolie and Isaac Chamberlain have serious beef to quash at the O2 and we cant wait to see it.

They said a storm was coming and he wouldn't be able to live with the power of Francis Ngannou.  The real life fire fighter, Stipe Miocic, proved the bookies wrong and put out the roaring blaze to become the greatest UFC Heavyweight of all time.

We also discuss the fascination of stripping Conor McGregor, a defining night for Daniel Cormier and the old blokes in Bellator.
