Amanda Nunes proved that lightening doesn’t strike twice after all by mauling Julinna Pena at UFC 277 to reclaim her bantamweight crown.

Brandon Moreno also reclaimed gold in the flyweight division by stealing the soul of Kai Kara-France, whilst Derrick Lewis’ Texas hoodoo showed no signs of abating with yet another quick fire knockout loss.

Cruiserweight’s Chris Billam-Smith and Isaac Chamberlain do like to be beside the seaside, producing one of the best fights you’ll see this year down near the shore in Bournemouth.

Their 12-round slugfest was mesmerizing and whilst it was The Gentleman that held onto his European title, both men had their reputations enhanced on a card littered with Olympic talent.

Nick and guest co-presenter Nathan ‘The Hitman’ Heaney also review the best of the action from Newcastle, before looking ahead to a big weekend Stateside featuring Vergil Ortiz Jr in Texas and Amanda Serrano – but no Jake Paul – at MSG.

A repeat of March was always going to be hard but UFC London, the July edition, gave us so many talking points, hence an extra long podcast.

Tom Aspinall suffered a horrible injury in the main event which lasted only 15 seconds whilst Paddy Pimblett gave one of the most powerful octagon speeches of all time.

We dissect everything that happened at the O2 before looking ahead to UFC 277 taking place this weekend.
