Fight Disciples Podcast

In a week where the table was set for every 135 pound contender to steak their claim, we are still talking about George Kambosos.

He has maximised his moment and remains the face of the Lightweight jungle.

We review Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis's performances as well as all the action from the Copperbox in London where Anthony Yarde returned to form.

We also preview this weeks action as we're bringing you the podcast from Dubai.

Well, they can't all be fight of the year contenders and UFC Vegas 43 sadly was the calm after the several weeks worth of storms we've been served.

It becomes the first card in UFC history to have 11 fights or more to only receive one finish.

We give you a review and spend the rest of the show talking about Khamzat Chimaev wrestling jack Hermansson.

Terence 'Bud' Crawford is the best welterweight on the planet and if Errol Spence disagree's he'll have to get in the ring to prove it.

Crawford went through the gears in fine style against Shawn Porter at the weekend, becoming the first man to stop the two time welterweight champion and in effect ending his career.

We discuss a tremendous weekend for boxing.

Max Holloway is only 29 years of age and in the prime of his fighting career!

For many he's the best ever featherweight and on Saturday he showed why he is regarded as so providing yet again a stellar performance.

Kudos must go to his opponent Yair Rodriguez, who having been out for two years, managed to hear the final hooter in a captivating fight.

We review the weekends action as well as discussing the major talking points this week involving Jorge Masvidal being out of UFC269.

Kiko Martinez hasn't strung three consecutive wins together since 2015, but managed to find himself in yet another world title fight on Saturday night.

He was there to make 'Kid' Galahad look good in his first title defence but the instructions must have been lost in translation as he landed a Hollywood home run at the end of the 5th and then another at the start of the 6th to provide the upset of the year.

We discuss the whole card from Sheffield as well as the rest of the weekend's action.

We're also looking forward to Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter this weekend.

We told you UFC 268 was going to be good but not in our wildest dreams could any of envisage what played out.

11 fights, one after the other, that delivered either a highlight reel knock out or a fight of the night contender.  One of those may even be the greatest fight of all time.

We sat down in JFK airport before jetting back tot he UK to discuss one of the greatest nights of fighting that the world has ever seen.

Will Canelo Alvarez realise his boyhood dream and become the first ever undisputed super middleweight champion of the world or will Caleb Plant spoil his party and claim the mantel for himself?

We discuss the hottest fight of the week but before we do we have to wax lyrical about Jaron 'Boots' Ennis.

The real deal at welterweight.
