With Nick away, SJAM supremo Sam Jones, joins Adam to discuss that and all other relevant news from the world of boxing as well as discussing is own stable of rising stars.

The majority of us didn't give Leigh Wood too much of a chance to beat a world level featherweight like Can Xu, but beat him he did, and in good style.

We reflect on a tremendous performance from the new sheriff of Nottingham and the rest of the first fight camp card of the summer.

We also discuss our own working relationship with the broadcaster DAZN and look ahead to the fights the week.

It's safe to say Joe Joyce is not like any other Heavyweight on the planet.

The question is though, how long can he keep defending shots from 17 stone blokes with his face?

We review his performance against Carlos Takam and look ahead to this weeks action in Fight Camp 1.

Islam Makhachev is coming for everything at 155 and the only thing that is going to hold him up is getting credible partners to dance.

He put in another top class performance at the weekend against Thiago Moises and proceeded to call out several notable lightweight contenders.

We dissect the action from the APEX and look ahead to Sandhagen vs TJ.

We were supposed to crown a new undisputed Super Welterweight world champion on Saturday as Jermell Charlo took on Brian Castano for everything at 154lbs.

Both men had their moments and dished up an enthralling fight but once again we are speaking about official incompetence rather than the sweet science.

We discuss one of the most ridiculous cards in recent memory.

We also look ahead to this weekends action involving Joe Joyce.
