  • #84 Decluttering –To Make Room For More

In this solo episode 84 of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast, I talk about how I’ve become a lot clearer on my vision and in doing so recognised that I have been playing small. Decluttering your environment can be a powerful tool in improving your money mindset. By letting go of things that no longer serve you, you can create space for what really matters and focus your energy on the things that will lead to greater success and fulfilment.

    Key Takeaways

    • Shiny object syndrome can lead to overspending and cluttered thinking.
    • A clear physical environment can help create a clear and focused mindset, which can allow for more creativity.
    • By being more intentional, evaluating your spending and keep what only serves your needs can create a clearer money mindset. It helps you focus on what truly matters in your financial goals.
    • Taking a step back to evaluate what is really important to you can help you make better financial decisions.

  • #83 Llewellyn – What’s Your Money Story?

In this latest episode of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast, I chat with Llewellyn, an award-winning musician whose name may not be familiar to most, but whose music has likely reached millions. Llewellyn is a prolific composer of sleep and relaxation music that has helped countless people drift off to dreamland. With over a million albums sold worldwide and millions of streams on digital platforms like Spotify and YouTube, he has mastered a niche in providing heavenly music that uplifts and transforms its listeners to other realms of wonder, magic, and relaxation.

But who is the man behind the music? In this episode, we delve into Llewellyn's money story, his childhood and upbringing, his personal experience about the ups and downs of the music industry and a whole lot more.

This week’s episode is definitely an inspiring and insightful one! Join us as we explore how Llewellyn's journey proves that success doesn't always require a pop star persona, but rather a willingness to set aside ego and embrace a life of passion and purpose. Enjoy tuning in!

    Key Takeaways

    • The music industry can be very fickle, and success can be fleeting. Financial struggles are common, even for those who have had a taste of success.
    • Sometimes, happiness and fulfilment can be found in unexpected places. Llewellyn found love and a sense of purpose outside of the music industry, and that gave him the strength to keep going even when things got tough.
    • Creativity and resourcefulness can help you find solutions to difficult situations. And overcoming adversity requires persistence and determination.
    • Recognition and fame aren't everything. Llewellyn has learned to find satisfaction in the fact that his music is fulfilling its purpose and bringing enjoyment to people's lives.
    • It is important to be grateful for what you have. Despite the challenges Llewellyn faced, Llewellyn's father reminded him to be thankful for the opportunities he had and to work hard to make the most of them.

  • #82 Stop Underearning Today

In this latest solo episode 82 of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast, I talk about why some business owners are under-earning and the effect it will be having, not just on their earnings potential. Under-earning often happens as a result of not valuing you, and your results enough. When we fight for our limitations we get to keep them.

If you've ever felt like you deserve more than what you're currently earning, this episode is for you. So grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable, get a pen and your notes and let's dive in!

    Key Takeaways

    • Underearning happens when someone earns less than their potential, despite their need or desire to earn more. It can be caused by low self-esteem, fear of success, or settling for less.
    • Underearning is not something to be ashamed of, but rather an opportunity to learn and earn more.
    • Underearning can impact every aspect of someone's life, including time, freedom, and the impact they can make for others.
    • Underearners are likely to feel trapped, unworthy, self-sabotage, and feel dependent on others. They can also feel limited by the number of opportunities available, fearful, unmotivated, and disconnected from the world.
    • By thinking about what is possible and taking intentional action, motivation kicks in to make it happen. This empowers individuals to start demonstrating the behaviours that will stop under earning and start looking at ways to make change.

    Key Takeaways

    • Our relationship with money is formed as a result of our parents’ relationship with money, and what we hear them say and do around money.

    • Our mindset, our subconscious is, is much more stubborn than our conscious self is.
    • It’s important to have a conversation with yourself. Where you recognise nobody can make you feel anything, unless you allow them to make you feel it.

  • #80 Questioning Your Behaviours Around Money

In this solo episode of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast I talk about the importance of understanding our negative behaviours around money show up and understand:

    • What thoughts follow this behaviour

    • How does it make you feel/what emotions come up

    • What action or reaction then takes place?

And to then understand the results of this behaviour. Are the results wanted or unwanted? Bringing the unconscious into the conscious, allows you to decide how you can move away from those negative behaviours, towards behaviours that support the results you want to see.

In addition, I will also take you through a method I use with my clients, the ADIOS framework say goodbye to limiting beliefs about money.

    Key Takeaways

A is for awareness. It's becoming aware of what is happening for you, in terms of your relationship with money, and your money mindset.

D is for desire. It’s creating that real sense of desire to make a commitment to create change.

I is for information. It’s all about gathering the evidences you have you created for yourself. It’s the questions that you ask yourself with regards to your relationship with money.

O is for observation. It’s being really openly aware as to what is happening. You want to be aware of the evidence that you have created of you moving away from your old relationship with money and to understand what are those feelings

S is for system. It’s that little feedback loop so that you are always aware of when something might trigger you, and take you back a step.

  • #79 Ian Anderson Gray – What’s Your Money Story?

In this latest episode of Let’s Talk Money and More Podcast, I talk with Ian Anderson Gray, who is the founder of the Confident Live Marketing Academy and is the host of the Confident Live Marketing Podcast.

He helps entrepreneurs to level up their impact, authority and profits by using live video confidently. He's founder of Seriously Social - a blog focused on live video and social media tools. He’s an international speaker, trainer, teacher and consultant.

He has a passion for making the techno-babble of live video and social media marketing easy to understand. Ian is co-founder of Select Performers – a family run web agency. As well as being a geek, husband, and dad to two kids, Ian is also a professional singer and lives near Manchester in the UK.

Ian and I had a really fascinating conversation about his own money story, his money mindset, his passion and philosophy, and a whole lot more. Enjoy tuning in!

    Key Takeaways

It's important to talk about money and be able to feel comfortable talking about your success and sharing your success, so that people know the art of the possible.

Success can be and should be measured in different ways for different people.

In talking about money and how much one earns, frame it in a way that is going to be encouraging and inspiring for people.

Money loves a purpose. Money for money's sake doesn't really motivate people, it doesn't make people feel happy and satisfied.

Start to dream big dreams and write those dreams down. Having them up in your head isn't enough. You have to write them down first so your subconscious can actually see the connection between what’s in your head and reality.

  • #78 How Do You Create Self-Trust?

This week’s solo episode has been inspired by something I recently read, ‘I trust the next chapter, because I know the author’…. How powerful is that!

What about you? Do you trust the author of your next chapter? If you feel that is a hard question to answer currently, please don't worry because there's lots of things that you can do to get there. Ask yourself, what needs to happen for you to trust in yourself? What needs to change for you to trust yourself? And what do you need to do to make that change?

    Key Takeaways

Having faith in yourself is a powerful affirmation. Affirming that you fully trust what’s unfolding in your life because of self belief.

Positive mental attitude is a mindset. And just like any mindset, including our mindset around money, it is never won and done.

When you’ve done the inner work it creates an evidence and that evidence serves as proof that things work out.

Be kind to yourself to recognise it's a process. A process from which you will grow.

About Financial Judgement
