Had a reet fun chat with Miles again yesterday as we wanted to complete our chat about 'beige' things in our culture that make us cringe with superiority and untamed anger. We also discuss being 'horrible in your heart' which means, saying dreadful things in front of people you know well enough to know that really you do not mean the vile thing you just said. And despite believing in every human beings right to do just that, I have actually edited some of it out because it didn't sound very nice on second listen. But that in itself has it's own value as the section in question led to some top remix banter skillz.

For anyone who cares the song at the end is called 'Get Your War On' and was recorded with my old band The Above (we never got anywhere (long sigh) but we did record an album for prosperity). I dare say there's still a bloody myspace page up with some of it on. Dear me what a thought.

I have been having a think about changing shit up and so here I present to you today, our newly refurbished podcast 'Stupid Hearts Club'.

 I nearly did a solo show on Saturday but then lovely Wendy Wason made herself available for this bright Monday morning so I waited and, believe me, the show is all the better for you not having to hear me in misery arse/nuclear fear mode trying to think of stuff to say that won't send you over the edge (en masse like lemmings)

Please let me know what you think of the new vibe and my ideas on going 2 Tier, nothing is set in stone yet so allllll good.

Hey you lot

I had a lovely old chinny-waggle about comedy and anxiety with top lady funster Anna Morris this week. She is best known as the posh lady in Channel 4's Lee and Dean. I reckon despite talking about the angsty-wobbles in some depth here that there is also a fair bit of inspirational go for it type chat, so I hope that helps someone throw down their pinafore and reinvent themselves in the name of whatever thing they have always wanted to have a go at.

In other news I have tested positive for Covid today and am feeling quite shit so am going to assume I might not get round to recording an ep in the week. Though we will see how bad I get it. I almost certainly got it from going into soho and doing my acoustic set on Thursday, but it was still worth it as it was a top night and I had waited so long to have a proper night out. Big up Guy and his GF Charlotte for coming down and representing the GSOH listenership.

I'm back! And so is the brilliant Mona Yousefi, who has doggedly stuck to her theme of not being able to understand the basics of audio input and output. Not that it gets in the way of what is a fun episode of absolute chaos.
