I worked as a volunteer in one of Mother Teresa’s homes for the poor in Calcutta, India for a period of two months in 2008. I was shocked to discover the horrifically negligent manner in which this charity operates and the direct contradiction of the public’s general understanding of their work....Workers wash needles under tap water and then reuse them. Medicine and other vital items are stored for months on end, expiring and still applied sporadically to patients. Volunteers with little or no training carry out dangerous work on patients with highly contagious cases of tuberculosis and other life threatening illnesses.After further investigation and research, I realized that all of the events I had witnessed amounted to nothing more than a systematic human rights violation and a financial scam of monumental and criminal proportions.

Borderline Personality Disorder

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is one of ten personality disorders; part of what is referred to as a Cluster A Personality Disorder.

A Personality Disorder is not the same as normal personality theory in that with a disorder it is assumed that the person's life is negatively affected.

The development of BPD is caused by: 1) Intrusive Experiences (recurrent, active injury like being beat up or sexually molested) and 2) Traumatic Neglect (the absence of holding, loving, and touching as a child).

There are several subtypes of Borderline Personality Disorder found in people who have BPD. They are identified as Schizotypal; Affective Instability; Rejection Sensitivity; and Angry/Impulsive.

While some symptoms may be shared with other disorders, it is imperative that a diagnosis is made by an experienced and licensed professional, since the wrong treatment can be harmful.

Remembering The Forgotten... by David Little Eagle

Wounded Knee, culmination of centuries of death and sorrow,

may I come to you?

Sleeping in the heart of Unci Maka, the Ancestors stir, singing the old songs of the Oyate - a song of remembering.

I see them dancing - the power of the Sacred overwhelming.

Dreaming of you, oh Wounded Knee,

I see the Baoruco Mountains, Sand Creek, Mystic, Bear Butte, the Black Hills and Big Mountain.

I see the Buffalo and the deer dancing the dance of remembering.

I hear the Eagles cry... You are remembered by the children, oh Wounded Knee -

the mainstream blinded by complicit deceit, but there is power in the truth.

Do I mourn?

Do I grieve?

Perhaps a little of both.

But in my remembering, I rejoice for the strength of The People -

through the ages; tormented and ignored; sought out for the slaughter.

We will NOT die.

We shall live, and see the Sun rising in the East -

new beginings when the greedy have gone to their ideas of "heaven"

or "hell".

We remember the forgotten, for the forgotten live on in the heart of forever...

The book Mother From Hell tells the story of Kenneth M. Doyle and his brother Patrick. For sixteen years our home was a place of suffering and pain. Behind the doors of our ordinary three bedroom house in Tullamore we were subjected to every kind of deprivation and humiliation at the hands of the one person who should have loved and protected us-our own mother. Stripped naked and savagely beaten, locked up for days on end, we were singled out from our siblings for a catalogue of abuse. Our mother beat us, broke bones, starved us and even forced us out to steal for her. But despite numerous official reports of abuse from social workers at the midland health board and the GARDA (POLICE) our suffering continued. In our new book Mother from hell we both tell a horrifying story of our abuse and how we survived it.

Causes of PTSD Experience of an atypical and significant traumatic event (most would have very negative & disturbed responses), accompanied by intense fear, helplessness, or horror.

Target symptoms of PTSD, are:

Intrusive Symptoms (can’t think clearly, can’t process, nightmares, feeling numbed out (Sexually, this might express in promiscuity or “frigid”)

Dissociation/Depersonalization (flashbacks, out-of-body feelings)

Hyper-Arousal (triggers anger or hurt in response to what would be considered insignificant events to others)

Transient Psychosis

Depression

Treatments for PTSD should include the following:

Direct therapeutic exposure to the trauma (e.g. systematic desensitization or flooding) or even focused group discussion, followed by cognitive reframing.

I know there are good people in the church that have joined to either make a difference or change, and to actually preach the word of God as we have come to know him. But my common sense also tells me that any righteous, caring, good hearted person dedicated to God would not be part of a society of pedophiles and would speak out against them and bring the truth to light. Where do I find the list of names of those Catholic Priests?
